At Believe in Dog, every activity we offer serves to strengthen the relationship between people and dogs. Teaching guardians to enrich, fulfill, train, and play with their dogs is our one and only priority.  It’s our mission and our purpose. It’s what we do. We aim to make the world a better place, one dog at a time.

Our philosophy is based on redirecting and teaching dogs to do what we want them to do instead of concentrating on what we don’t want them to do. We emphasize fun and celebrate every dog’s individual idiosyncrasies. We don’t fight natural doggie behaviors and hobbies. Instead, we create ways to use these behaviors as motivation and reinforcement to keep them interested in the dog training game. With our dog and people friendly approach, we help create an optimum bond, while also keeping dogs enriched, fulfilled, and happy throughout their lives.

We teach dog guardians to train with curiosity kindness, patience, empathy, and fair leadership (not dominance!). In order to become their dog’s advocate, we educate parents on how to read their dog’s body language, communicate effectively and understand how dogs see the world. People will then be much less likely to punish and confuse their dogs; they will be much more likely to take responsibility for their dog’s needs, and become more understanding of their dog’s emotions and behaviors. Our goal is for people and dogs to co-exist peacefully and harmoniously.

Visit us at our at our spacious, Zen-like Canine Training and Enrichment Center in the Heights! Our Center was thoughtfully designed with the safety of puppies in mind. It includes two indoor, temperature controlled classrooms, and four fully fenced in play-yards.
